Come make a waxed canvas tote with us! Nick will guide you through the basics of cutting, sewing machine usage, leather work, snap setting, riveting, binding and more. This class is a great overview of several techniques, so you'll learn a lot!
Maximum of 3 students per class. No experience is necessary!
About the bag you'll be making:
Students will choose from three waxed canvas colors (Slate, Wine, and Oak), and three leather colors (Black, Dark Brown and Tan) to sew and assemble their very own two-pocket tote. Students will also have their choice of thread and hardware colors.

The tote class with Nick was a blast! I have basically zero sewing skills and he was so patient and kind, walking us through each step and cheering us on. I ended up with something that, from a distance, could have been made by a professional. It was a lot of fun picking the colors and learning techniques (like his genius bottom of the bag folding method), and seeing everyone’s finished product. Highly recommend and will definitely be checking out another class!!
