Is it an apron or a dress!? Well, like most things in life, it exists beyond the binary and lands somewhere in the middle. And it totally depends on how you wear it!

The black denim suspender dress is a wardrobe staple built for real life. The pinafore-style silhouette hits at or just above the knee on most people, making it easy to layer over a tee, tank top, turtleneck, or sweater. Adjustable grey suspenders mean it fits a wide range of torso lengths and bust sizes. With sizing from S to 5XL, there's a fit for just about everyone. The dress features two deep pockets and a smaller phone pocket. Made by hand in Astoria, Oregon from 100% cotton 8oz denim — sturdy yet lightweight. The black wash reads as a very dark grey.

See chart for sizes. Measurements are of the garment itself so you can figure out how you want it to fit. As a basic rule, the waist measurement is the most vital and allowing the garment to be about 2-3" bigger than your waist is ideal. Please contact us with ANY fit questions!

Care Instructions

All Shift + Wheeler garments (except waxed canvas garments) are made of natural fibers and we recommend cold wash and hang dry, hot iron. If you must machine dry a linen garment, usually 10 minutes will do. All fabric is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage.

We use the trusty ole USPS for all of our shipping needs. You can choose from Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. In stock orders generally ship within 2-3 days. Orders over $200 qualify for free shipping.

Returns

If you'd like to exchange an item, please send us an email, and send your package back to the return address on the shipping label within 30 days. The item must be in unused, like-new, condition or we cannot issue your exchange. Depending on the item, we may have to make one in your size. We are also happy to offer store credit. No refunds. No returns on custom orders.
