Inspired by hickory shirts, chore coats, and those cute French work coats Bill Cunningham wore to take fashion pics in the streets of New York City, the Shift Lab Coat is made from super soft 8oz 100% cotton railroad stripe denim, and cut to fit loosely if you want, or closer if you prefer. The sleeves are ever so slightly cropped to facilitate working and feature a very deep hem for a nice weight. Loose a-line shape accommodates hips and bellies. Single snap keeps you together.

These coats come in three "one size fits some" options.

Measurements are of the garment itself so you can figure out how you want it to fit. Please contact us with ANY fit questions!

Care Instructions

Fabric is pre-washed and pre-shrunk. Wash cold, hang dry, iron hot.

Shipping

We use the trusty ole USPS for all of our shipping needs. You can choose from Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. In stock orders generally ship within 2-3 days. Orders over $200 qualify for free shipping.

Returns

If you'd like to exchange an item, please send us an email, and send your package back to the return address on the shipping label within 30 days. The item must be in unused, like-new, condition or we cannot issue your exchange. Depending on the item, we may have to make one in your size. We are also happy to offer store credit. No refunds. No returns on custom orders.

I wished I had this sooner

I am in *love* with this lab coat. Living in a hot humid climate has made it challenge to find a transitional topper. Not only is the lab coat functional, it is also pretty. It is really well made. The sleeves and all pockets have the cuffed design that is sewn in place with the stripes lining up and it really gives the coat a design touch versus a mere functional coat. The cropped sleeves do not get in the way when I’m working in my studio, which is fantastic. The big pockets easily hold my phone or I can slip my hands in there when I’m out and about. The cut is so flattering too. I purchased the smallish. I am 5’2” and wear 14-1x depending on designer and cut. I hope they release another lab coat in another print in this weight. Really cannot stress how pretty and functional this piece is.

The best item I own

I love this lab coat style top! I wear it all the time around the house because the pockets are so nice- carry your ereader and phone around no problem.
It is also perfect for air travel because of the pockets.
It just keeps getting better with time too.
There is nothing else like it!
