Messenger Bag, we love you. The PERFECT bag for school or work or just general schlepping, it’s built for transporting a laptop and documents, but can easily be used as an overnight bag or carry on. One of our most popular larger bags. The waxed canvas keeps your cargo dry, and looks more dope over time as it develops a warm patina.
Waxed Canvas messenger with Latigo bridle leather details and zipper pocket under flap along with phone and pencil pockets. Adjustable strap. Bag dimensions: 16"x11"x4". Strap adjusts from 38"-52".
This is a perfect every day work bag! Bag is fully lined with Railroad Denim, laptop divider inside. Designed to fit most laptops.

Waxed canvas is known to age beautifully and patina over time. This is especially noticable and happens more quickly with lighter colors such as yellow.
Cleaning Waxed Canvas
Brush off dirt or sand. Use a clean sponge or brush to gently massage small spots with cold water and a drop of mild soap. Rinse with cold water. Let the bag air dry. Do not use warm or hot water, laundry detergent, traditional washing, or dry cleaning.
Re-Waxing Your Bag
To maintain the water resistance of your bag, you may choose to re-wax in a year or two, depending on how much you use it. Use canvas wax according to package instructions.

This is a great messenger bag. In a world of generic laptop bags and bland cyclist messenger bags, Shift + Wheeler's stands out. The style hits the perfect spot between relaxed and formal with Nick's classic design. It looks good whether you're dressed for a formal business meeting or just slouching to the coffee shop in your favorite hoodie.
Beyond the form, though, is the excellent function. Big enough for your laptop or tablet, a notebook, that book you keep meaning to read, all your chargers and other accessories, plus a little space to spare, you can transition from work to play in your day and keep everything you really need at hand. The quality is, of course, second to none, with sturdy construction and quality hardware. I can hardly wait to see the character it builds over the many, many years it is sure to last me.
Love the canvas and leather. Stitching, like all of Nick's work, is meticulous. The zippered storage pocket is great. Maybe add a little something to stiffen the bag?
