Until now, there was only one hair claw (made by a different company) I liked, but the quality of the springs has dropped in recent years.
This claw has strong springs and smooth, strong teeth that it doesn't snag on my hair or bend out of shape. It costs more than my old claws, but it's worth it to have something that lasts and works as well as it does.
I bought two of these -- lavender checked, and swirly blue -- and I love them both! They are very strong, but easy to open and close, and easily hold all my hair securely.
I first bought the black one then on my next trip I picked up the green. As I write this I've got the green one in my hair! The clip is strong and cute, much like me. I like how I can clip it on my bag strap so I can easily grab it when I'm having a 'gotta put my hair up immediately' situation. Totally get yourself one or two!
