WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WORDS IN THIS PRODUCT NAME? We really wanted to get across that this apron is a fun fashion-y layering piece, wear over a dress or a long tunic (as shown), or other infinite ways to add a little texture. Tie the straps at the back, as is tradition, or knot them off at the loop and leave 'em hanging because we think that looks cool!
Or wear it to cook in or do ceramics, whatever!
Wash cold, hang dry, please use a garment / net laundry bag as the ties will cause problems.
Generally speaking, SMALLER fits folks around size 20 or XL and lower. BIGGER fits around size 22 or 2XL and up.
Smaller: 25" long from top of bib, 28" around
Bigger: 25" long from top of bib, 37" around

I spotted the brown version of this in my feed. A tiny, feeble part of my brain said, “you already have this in basic black, why would you need this in Girl Scout brown?” And I turned on that little voice, readers. I fought back as if it was a masked ICE agent. NO ONE TALKS TO MY INNER CHILD THAT WAY. And now I own this genius apron garment in two colors. Because I’m smart. In fact, judging by the number of garments I own from Shift + Wheeler, I’m probably the smartest girl on this block.

I’ve been wearing aprons for years. Not because I’m a chef, not because I did anything for a living that was particularly messy, not because I was a Waldorf kindergarten teacher… I just like the darn things. They just seem like the perfect layer to me, a feel-good and friendly kind of shield. I had noticed a while ago that I was in need of a new and snazzy apron-type garment in black. AND THERE IT WAS! Becky, genius that she is, understands the glory that is an apron-type garment, and she created this streamlined, understated, little-black-dress version of same. Needless to say, I snapped it up, and it is just absolutely the thing. I’ve only had it a month or so, and it has already shielded me in a benign and fashionable way QUITE a few times. I’m beyond satisfied, as I always am with items I purchase from Shift+Wheeler. Be like me. Invest in and wear this apron-esque superhero garment. It will be the wind beneath your wings.
